"to be or not to be"

In the Olivier's version Hamlet was standing at the edge of a cliff looking down at the ocean. In this version it shows that he was thinking about committing suicide because when he spoke of death he looked down at the ocean and he also used a dagger to make it seem like he was actually about to do it and it made it very suspenseful. To show that he wanted to live he dropped the dagger and i think they could have done more with that.
I didn't understand the Branagh's version very well and it wasn't as suspenseful as the other versions. I think that it was kind of weird how he was talking to himself in the mirror and the setting wasn't as gloomy as the other versions which made it seem more dramatic because here he was in a big room and it was kind of bright which didn't make it nearly as good as the others and i find it strange how Claudius and Polonius are hiding behind the mirror, that made things a little confusing and it didn't follow the play that well.
In my opinion the Zeffirelli's version which was played by Mel Gibson was the best one that followed the play the most. The settings were in the catacombs under the castle which made everything seem gloomy cause it was dark down there and that made things even more suspenseful. He was sitting next to a grave which symbolized death and when he was talking about life he headed towards the light which represented life. This scene was about choosing between life and death and i think this version portrayed it best.

Titubas lie

Pg. 1260  Tituba: "Mister Reverend, I do believe somebody else be witchin' these children."

This shows how easily gullible the people of Salem were to believe such a lie.
Tituba easily fooled the minister by trying to point out someone else just as Abigal
had blamed Tituba earlier.
